1. When can I visit your medical centre?
Hassall Grove is open 08:00 am-6:00 pm weekdays and 09:00am-2:00pm on weekends and public holidays.

2. Do I need an appointment to see a doctor?
An appointment is not required to see a bulk billing GP at Hassall Grove Medical Centre . Walk-in to see the next available doctor, or your choice of doctor. No limits are placed on the consultation type or duration. Emergency patients will be given priority.

3. What are your co-located services?

4. Where can I find my doctor’s roster?
As the doctors’ rosters change to meet patient demand at the medical centre, we advise calling reception to check their availability. All contact numbers can be found on Medical Centre pages.

5. Am I eligible for a telehealth consultation?
Under Medicare, Telehealth consultations are only available to existing patients who have seen their GP in person in the last 12 months. All new patients are welcome to visit our medical centre between 9am and 6pm for a GP consultation in-person. Telehealth consults are only available between 9am and 2pm Monday to Friday .

6. How do I organise a telehealth consultation?
To join the queue for a telehealth consultation, please call us or walkin and one of our receptionist will help you or online booking system .

7. Do I need a referral to see a specialist?
Speak to a bulk billing GP at Hassall Grove Medical Centre about a referral to see any of the specialists at the medical centre.

8. What type of allied health professionals are available?

9. Do I need an appointment to see a specialist or allied health professional?
At Hassall Grove Medical Centre an appointment is required to see one of the allied health service providers and specialists. To make an appointment please contact reception. All contact numbers can be found on Our Medical clinic pages.

10. Do I need to make an appointment for pathology?
Simply walk-in with your referral to see the pathology collector during opening hours. Appointments are only required for Glucose Tolerance Tests, blood pressure monitoring and halter monitoring. For these tests only, please call for an appointment.

11. How do I receive my pathology test results?
You will receive a text message from the medical centre when the results have been returned to the referring doctor. When you receive an SMS, please return to Hassall Grove Medical Centre to discuss the results with your doctor or join the telehealth queue online. Please do not call reception, as results will not be provided over the phone.

12. What is the latest time I can arrive at Hassall Grove Medical Centre to see a GP?
Hassall Grove Medical Centreis open until 6:00 pm every day. For patients arriving in the evening, it depends on the number of patients already waiting whether further consultations will be likely before the medical centre closes at 6:00 pm. Emergency presentations will always be given priority.
